A well guided excellent relaxed day out with all the flare that has made Westbound Australia World Famous for their personal family service to all their visitors which includes a visit to their River Front Home for a delicious Aussie Barbecue Lunch followed by Ron’s Home Made Apple Pie.


Our tour starts with a short pleasant drive to the Swan Valley to Whiteman Park to see Caversham Wildlife Park and Tumbulgum Farm. Our Very Own Guide to explain all about Australia’s Animals, Birds and Reptiles, plus get to touch Koalas and Wombats, feed Kangaroos and see Emus and Dingos. Then the Farm Show to see Working Sheep Dogs and Horses Droving Sheep. A Sheep Shearing demonstration, Milk a Cow and Feeding Lambs.

Then it’s off to Maalinup Gallery for an Aboriginal Dreamtime Experience that can include throwing boomerangs, the magic sounds of the Digeridoo and Bush Tucker. Chance to buy Indigenous Art and Artefacts.

Now the tastes of the Swan Valley visiting a Winery to taste refreshing white, red and fortified wines plus seasonal fruits and homemade jams, toppings, olives and cheese. Next the Ice creamery and English Lolly Shop. Then the Chocolate Factory to Taste Chocolate. Lots of goodies to buy at these places.

We then visit the Guildford Village Potters for a display of Throwing a Pot and chance to purchase from their large array of items for sale. We then travel past the FKS (WA) Buddhist Temple to our River Front Home to enjoy a delicious Aussie Barbecue (optional Kangaroo tasting*) followed by Ron’s Home Made Apple Pie and Ice Cream.

After lunch and time permitting we visit a Local Supermarket as we make our way through the Graham Farmer Tunnel to Kings Park to enjoy the smell of gum leaves, noise of bird chatter and the views from Tree Top Walk. Then catch the Swan River Ferry in South Perth back to Perth City watching for Black Swans and Dolphins along the way.

You can choose to stay at the jetty or be coached back to your hotel.
