Spotlighting for Kangaroos, Foxes, Rabbits & Possums

Safari trek with us into the Golden Sunset to see Kangaroos and Rabbits emerge from the bush with the protection of the onset of darkness to graze, often with horses and catle, the open plains and foot hills of Perth's Darling Range.

Then to await full darkness we stop at the famous Gingers Roadhouse, for a mouth watering Truckie Burger and Chips (choice of Steak, Chicken, Fish or Vegetarian) and a chance to buy your own Truckie Mug.

Over dinner we watch the Road Trains come and go along the Perth-Darwin Hwy, said to be the longest single haulage route in the world.

After dinner and now in total darkness we venture into the foothills to admire the Milky Way and the Moon, Stars, Planets and Constellations. See how to find south with the Southern Cross (Crux). Watch for The Orion and Scorpio and Great Stars like Sirius and Antares.

Excitement Adorns as we now turn on our Spotlight and head into the High Country to search for Kangaroos, Foxes and Rabbits. If we are lucky an Owl or a Kookaburra and maybe a Possum or two.

We return back to the city around 9:30pm.
