Lesmurdie Falls Wildflower Trail and Lookout

Over 250 million years in the making our tour today will delight you with the variety, colour and splendor of what is considered the best wildflowers show in nature the world has to offer.

We commence our journey at Kings Park along the wildflower trail and Federation walk (Treetop Walk) through gardens of masses of wildflowers from all over Western Australia.

We then make our way out into the Darling Range to view wildflowers at the John Forrest National Park before making our way to Noble Falls to picnic amongst the wildflowers and natural waterways and falls. Cut sandwiches, fruit and our own special date damper followed by tea or coffee.

We then travel on through forests of eucalypts along the Darling Range ablaze with splashes of colour, yellow, blue, orange and shades of green and red. On to Lesmurdie Falls and the picturesque view of the city through hills covered in colourful Wildflowers.

Along the way we make stops to walk amongst the wildflowers for pictures and study. Lots of time for close up photography and wildflower identification from the beautiful coloured wildflower book, Wildflowers of Western Australia copies available for sale on the tour.
